My only regret after accepting my father's generous offer was that I had not thought of it before. Making him feel sorry for me, that is. Later my wife hinted that perhaps we could find a modus vivendi after all, but for once I acted smart. Who needs a wife when he has a boat? Or as a modern Greek proverb says, 'He who has a yacht has a different wife every night.' There can be no argument that boats are among the most luxurious items money can buy.
